Welcome to THERME AMADE SPA in Altenmarkt im Pongau /Salzburg.
The THERME AMADE SPA is located on 30.000 square meters in the outstanding alpine countryside of Altenmarkt and offers an extensive range of heat and water experiences. A generously arranged pool area, a variety of sauna baths and a unique thrilling looping slide are highlights to ensure an exceptional spa experience. Step inside and feel the serenity and warmth.
More than half of the pools are indoors and two outdoor pools are connected by a swim through passage. The pleasant water temperature enables all-year-round use, even during winter.
The water is enriched with healthy salt from the famous salt mine of Bad Ischl in Upper Austria. All pools, except the sport`s pool, children`s pool and the surf lagoon, contain 1.5 – 2.5 % salt water. Salt water has a positive effect on the skin and to the respiration system. Salt inhaled in the steam bath grotto or applied during a sauna bath shows immediate effects.
The main attractions are the surf lagoon, the pools with different concentrations of salt water and the fresh water sport`s pool with diving board.
Our coaches offer daily aqua exercises at the surf lagoon. The aqua exercises are free of charge.
Aqua exercises are designed to take the weight off the joints and the spinal column. In addition it strengthens muscles and the cardiovascular system.
Aqua exercises are daily at 11.10 am and 5.10 pm.
THERME AMADE is great for children and families. Children are guaranteed a fantastic time in our special programs.
The activities take place at 14.40 p.m. in the surf lagoon at weekends, during the holiday season and on days when a lot of children are present - which means that there is plenty of opportunity for mum and dad to relax as well.
Two solariums are located between the indoor pool area and the sauna world.
